Please arrange your visit at least a few days in advance, so we can offer our assistance in finding accommodation. 5. How do I choose the finishes? We offer you different types of finishes, from waxed and manually painted to more complex sprayed finishes. Also, on the same piece of furniture we can apply two colours (combo finishes). Please visit our Wood Finishes options section in order to make the first selection of the required finishes. If you would like to see how combinations of two colours look like, please go to our Colour Demo. Our staff is also eager to offer you detailed information on all the available finishes and on the way they can be combined. 6. Are all pieces available in all colours? You can choose any model in any of the available finishes. 7. Can I have finishes samples? Yes, by request you can receive samples of wooden finishes and for fabrics and leather. 8. What kind of wood is used for the construction of the furniture? For the construction of our furniture we only use solid pine, with the exception of chairs that are made of beech. The tops of Victoria Line kitchen models are made of beech. Also, our Flexi Table range has pine, oak and beech options for tops. 9. What kind of upholstery is used? The models of Memphis Line are made of different leather types. The models of Natura Collection are upholstered with fabric, in a choice of a wide range of colours/ patterns. Wood elements are made of solid beech. 10. Can I get samples of pieces I am interested in? Yes. Know, however, that you have to pay for the samples and the cost of shipping. 11. Can I get custom made furniture? We do not make 'one offs' or custom furniture. For larger quantities of the same model, please contact your sales representative. 13. How are the products measured? The dimensions are taken from the widest outside points, and may vary slightly from the dimensions shown. If exact dimensions are needed, please advice us when placing the order. 14. How is the furniture packed? Our models are carefully packaged using cardboard protectors for corners edges and tops, bubble pack and shrink-wrapped in plastic pack. All packages are clearly labeled. 15. What is the delivery time? We normally deliver within 3 to 5 weeks from the moment we receive the advance payment. 16. Who takes care of the transport arrangements? We arrange the transport for most of our clients. We do this every day, so we generally have good rates. If you have your own transport arranged, then we will be happy to work with them. However, please keep in mind that our prices are exclusive of transport and insurance. 17. How do I maintain the products? Natural variations occurring in wood or other materials are not considered defects and the colour-fastness or matching of colors, grains, or textures of such materials may be different from a product to the other. The furniture made of solid wood is sensitive to the environment. However, quality problems may be reduced by installing, using or maintaining the furniture in accordance with the instructions below: - Do not place furniture next to radiators, heating and cooling vents. Never expose the furniture to direct fires (fireplaces, stoves, etc.) or other intense sources of heating; - Cyclic changes in temperature in an unheated environment (cool at night, warmer during the day) can cause small cracks of the wood; - Hot blasts of air, such as those from a central heating, should be avoided; - Direct sunlight should be avoided; it can fade upholstery, dry out wood furniture and has a bleaching effect on wood and finishes; - For hot plates and dishes always use a tablecloth or a place mat; - Avoid mechanical shocks by handling carefully; - Do not place the furniture outdoors; - Very damp or very dry environments should be avoided; - Do not set abrasive items on the finished surface; - To prevent water rings, use wood coasters; - Spills should be cleaned up immediately; - Thoroughly clean wood furniture and cabinets after heavy-use to avoid dirt or dust to settle on wood; - Avoid cleaners with ammonia as an ingredient, because this substance is very damaging to unfinished wood (it has a bleaching effect of the unfinished wood); - Do not use polishes containing high amounts of alcohol; - Avoid furniture polishes that contain a high percentage of silicone, which may cause permanent damage over time. 18. How can I get a printed catalogue? Please indicate the required number of catalogues on your order. The customers get five catalogues free of charge, but the rest will be priced by your sales representative. Quadra Invest SA 1 Gaesti Street |
